Only about 0.8 % of the earth's water supply is fresh water; it can be found in underground water, rivers and lakes.
This water can be used for supplying drinking water - a more or less complex process. This highlights the fact that sustainable use of our most important resource is of existential importance. 
Since the foundation of KUHN in 1926, we have been dealing with the subject of water. In the first few years, this was limited to supplying drinking water, but for many decades now we have also been working with wastewater purification.

Initially, plants were built and run with simple, technical means, but now there are very high demands placed on materials, design and quality. We have met this challenge and continue to develop our business alongside these demands.

Our staff is continually getting to know the latest technologies within the context of further educational measures.

Ensuring the level of quality with welder's tests according to DIN EN 287-1 and qualifying as a professional and expert business pursuant to §19I WHG is a matter of course for us. Our engineers and technicians are not only very experienced and well acquainted with the special requirements of plant construction, but are also open to new technologies.
